I know what life is like in the days after bringing home your new baby. You’re navigating a whole new world, probably in disbelief that your baby is out of your belly and into your arms. You could stare at her for hours, and your heart feels like it may explode from an overdose of pure L O V E. 😻
You thought you wanted newborn photos taken, but now the idea of doing anything besides feeding your baby and trying to catch up on sleep seems overwhelming.
I get it. I’ve been there. But I’m on the other side now and I urge you to MAKE IT HAPPEN!
I didn’t hire a photographer after my first son was born because I figured I would take his newborn photos myself! Sadly whenever I got him to sleep and had a moment to do so-the last thing I wanted to do was get my camera out. I learned my lesson and hired a photographer after the arrival of my second son - and I am so glad I did! The images we got as our new family of four are some of my favorites we’ve ever taken. Newborns grow and change so quickly. It’s easy to forget how small he was, and how different he looked in the first weeks of life!
Not sure what to expect when you’re expecting a lifestyle newborn session with me? Expect it to be relaxed. Expect it to be easy.
My goal for our session is for you to relax and enjoy your new baby. You’ll hold them, snuggle them, and soak them up. We’ll take breaks to feed and change him when needed. We’ll chat and I’ll want to hear your birth story. We’ll laugh and I’ll probably comment a million times about how adorable your baby is-because no matter how many newborns I meet I just can’t get enough of their cuteness. In a nutshell we’ll hang out like friends for a couple hours and the end result will be a beautiful collection of images telling your story.
Having a newborn is an exceptional time of your life. You will not regret documenting it!
